About the Author
 MARY E. NEIGHBOUR practiced as a psychotherapist before returning to a career in
writing, developing narratives for individuals, writing their memoirs and family histories. She
developed an ear for first-person narrative and an abiding interest in depicting the fully-lived experiences of a past era that remain relevant today.
Her short fiction has been recognized via
various awards, including the Sacramento Public Library, ByLine Magazine, Mid-American Review,
the Alligator Juniper, The Whidbey Island Writers' Association and the Pacific Northwest Writers'
group.
Ms. Neighbour lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Speak Right On is her first novel.
